SG-2026-02 is the second instrument completed under the Sargent Guitars name and was built around a remarkable one-piece pine body crafted from lumber that had naturally aged for approximately 35 years before construction. Lightweight, acoustically lively, and full of character, it became the foundation for a Telecaster-style guitar inspired by the feel and response of a well-played vintage instrument.
The body was professionally finished by Starr Guitars in Orlando, Florida in a tasteful Daphne Blue relic finish. Rather than creating exaggerated wear, the finish was designed to capture the appearance of decades of honest use while allowing the character of the pine to remain the centerpiece of the instrument.
A premium Warmoth quartersawn maple Fatback neck, Lollar Vintage T neck pickup, Lollar Special T bridge pickup, and premium Gotoh hardware were carefully selected to complement the natural voice of the guitar.
At just 6.8 pounds, it's lightweight, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable whether you're in the studio, on stage, or simply enjoying an evening of playing at home.
